How the lyrics transcriber works

Continue to the private Music Analysis workspace. The external page does not upload audio, request sign-in, or charge credits.

Select a supported audio file in the workspace and confirm that you own it or have permission to transcribe it.

Review the current analysis cost, then explicitly start the real recognition request.

Accuracy, rights, and state
- Recognized text can contain errors; clear, isolated vocals usually work better.
- Recognition is automatic; no language selector or accuracy guarantee is offered.
- A failed task keeps the mounted source for retry, but refresh clears local state.
- The app shows the 1-credit cost and refunds failed provider tasks.

Can I use this as a song to lyrics converter?
Yes. Choose a rights-cleared song in the private workspace, start automatic recognition, and review the returned lyric sections and line timestamps before copying or exporting TXT.
What does Audio to Lyrics do?
It sends a rights-cleared audio file through MeloLab’s real lyrics-recognition workflow and returns the recognized sections and line timestamps supplied by the provider.
How accurate is the transcription?
Accuracy varies. Clear vocals usually work better, while overlapping singers, heavy effects, noise, pronunciation, and mix quality can introduce mistakes. Review every line before using it.
Can I choose a recognition language?
No. The current workspace uses automatic recognition and does not provide a language selector or a language-accuracy guarantee.
Which export formats are available?
The current workspace can copy the recognized text or export a plain TXT file. SRT and LRC export are not available in this pilot.
What happens if the analysis fails?
The server applies its existing failed-analysis refund policy, and the mounted workspace keeps the selected source available for an explicit retry.
Does the external page upload my audio?
No. The external page contains no uploader and starts no task. File selection, rights confirmation, cost review, upload, and transcription happen only after you continue to the private workspace.
